Welcome to Ride Our Story
At Ride Our Story, we believe that life is not just about the destination—it’s about the journey. We are Simona Fironda and Dragos Zaharie, two passionate riders with a shared love for adventure, freedom, and the open road. Together, we’re embarking on a 60,000 km motorcycle journey across Asia, but this is more than just a ride—it’s a story of connection, resilience, and discovery.
Our journey is about more than the miles we’ll cover or the landscapes we’ll explore. It’s about the people we’ll meet, the cultures we’ll immerse ourselves in, and the lessons we’ll learn along the way. It’s about pushing boundaries, embracing the unknown, and finding beauty in the unexpected. But most importantly, it’s about sharing these experiences with you—our community—and inspiring you to chase your own horizons, no matter where they may lead.

Simona Fironda
I’m Simo, and to me, life is a journey filled with new perspectives, cultural exchanges, and immersive experiences. Whether exploring the Nordic lifestyle while living in Norway, backpacking through the high altitudes of Ecuador, working with Global Youth Uganda in Denmark, teaching in remote settlements across Africa, riding through Europe’s backroads on two wheels, or working as a Program Manager in medical software back in my hometown of Timișoara, I’m all about connection—connection with people, places, and ideas.
I invite my community to join me on this journey, celebrating the beauty and richness of diverse landscapes, stories, and perspectives. To me, this journey it’s about fostering empathy and understanding, drawing us closer in a world that grows more connected with each shared experience.

Dragos Zaharie
I live for the open road, driven by a deep-rooted love for motorcycles—a passion that began with my father. His spirit of exploration laid the foundation for my own journey, inspiring me to carve my path across some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. From the winding trails of the Carpathians to the rugged peaks of the High Atlas Mountains, I’ve ventured through Alpine passes, twisted roads, and even the sun-scorched stretches of the Sahara.
With every mile, I carry my father’s legacy forward, blending the old with the new, and inviting others to see the world through my eyes: a place of beauty, diversity, and endless discovery.
